Mimos
A mimo is a gift in USDC that leaves your Vault and arrives in the other person's Vault over the Polygon network — no middleman and no in-app points.
What a mimo is
Each person lists in "My gifts" what they would like to receive. A mimo is one of those items, worth between 1 and 200 USDC — never any other currency.
A mimo is not an app currency or a points balance: the credit IS the USDC held in your own Vault. Sending a mimo is a real wallet-to-wallet transfer.
How to send one
You pick an item from the person's list and confirm. The transfer goes from your Vault to theirs and is signed by your passkey — the platform never signs for you.
Before you confirm, the screen shows the platform fee for that send. The fee applies to the mimo only: loading and withdrawing from the Vault carry no platform fee.
If the person has no Vault yet
Nothing leaves your wallet. A pending gift intent is recorded with a deadline, and the person is told a mimo is waiting for them.
When they open their Vault, you sign the send again — no signature of yours is ever stored along the way.
